Sweetheart Swing Dance Class Saturday, February 21st - 6PM-8PM
Sweetheart Swing is a joyful evening of movement, music, and classic comfort food. Often called the ultimate social dance, Swing rose to popularity in the 1930s, when early dancers were playfully known as “jitterbugs.” In this lively class, you’ll learn foundational Jitterbug-style swing steps that pair perfectly with jazz, rock & roll, and more.
Led by local instructor Patricia Mora, this class focuses on building confidence, connection, and energetic movements that can be used across a variety of swing dance styles. Whether you’re brand new or just brushing up, you’ll leave feeling comfortable on the dance floor and ready to have fun.
Tickets are sold per person. Partners are encouraged (and recommended!), but each dancer will need their own ticket — so bring a date, a friend, or come ready to meet one.
After the lesson, gather around the table to enjoy a cozy, era-inspired dinner featuring baked mac & cheese, savory meatballs, and a fresh Waldorf salad — the perfect way to wind down after a night of swing and smiles.
Mint Julep Mocktails will be available but feel free to bring your own gin or favorite Spirit to mix in!
Come for the swing, stay for the supper.
