Celebrate movement, music, and old-world tradition with an evening of lively dance and hearty Irish fare. Join us for a joyful night rooted in European dance history and community connection.
Patricia Mora will guide guests through a two-person Irish Jig—a simple, energetic dance filled with playful movement. You’ll learn classic steps, graceful turns, and the beloved “sweetheart” position, a versatile hold used across many dance styles. Jigs are a cornerstone of Irish dance, known for their rhythm, joy, and spirited expression.
The evening will also feature Country Polka, an upbeat and energetic dance that swept across Europe—including Ireland—by the mid-1800s. With its many regional and social variations, polka remains a beloved staple at countryside balls, formal gatherings, and folk dance circles around the world.
After dancing, guests will enjoy a comforting, St. Patrick’s–inspired meal featuring Guinness Beef Stew, Colcannon, and Irish Apple Cake—a hearty and sweet spread meant to be shared.
No experience necessary—just bring a willingness to move, laugh, and enjoy the rhythm of tradition together.
Tickets are sold per person. Partners are encouraged (and recommended!), but each dancer will need their own ticket.
Class starts at 6PM.
